See Front Cover & “C” also for the safety attachment which may be to ANY collar. This safety attachment also takes pressure off the headcollar should the dog pull.
DESCRIPTION
A = Slip Collar. B = Cam Lock. C = Slip Ring. D = Trigger Hook for lead handle or Safety Hook Up. E = D Ring for connecting trigger hook to make a handgrip.
Colours: Black, Black with two red stripes, Black with two blue stripes, Black with two green stripes
INSTRUCTIONS
(1) Form normal exercise without a headcollar form a slip lead and attach the trigger hook to the “D” Ring to form a handgrip for a longer lead.
(2) To form a headcollar lift the Cam Lock Lever. Loosen the fabric under the neck and form a figure 8. Loop over the dog nose to form the headcollar. Take out the two twists by passing them through the slip ring. Loosely tighten and lock the Cam. This in itself may be sufficient for normal exercise.
(3) If the dog is exuberant and tries to slip the headcollar, for safety, clip the trigger hook to any collar that the dog is wearing, preferably a training collar and one that the dog cannot slip its head out. This second safety connection ensures the dog is secure and cannot escape by backing out of the headcollar. Further, pressure is taken off the headcollar when and if the dog is pulling.
Some dogs will accept the headcollar immediately. Others may at first object but usually after a few minutes training they readily accept it. If the dog tries to “paw” it off, stop, get the dogs’ attention then move off again.
The use of the headcollar usually has a marked calming effect on any excitable dogs. They are much easier to walk and this in turn gives the handler better control eradicating jumping up, surging forward or pulling on the lead. The safety hook up to the collar should be connected when using this product with difficult dogs.
Form a Waist Lead or Shoulder Lead (hands free). Unlock the Cam. Make a large loop through the slip ring. Pass over the shoulder or around the waist. Tighten the Cam Lock to suit. Ideal for jogging or hands free exercise. Clip trigger to the collar.
Testimonial
Dear George,
I have started 3 weeks ago going for 8 mile walks twice a week for exercise. Every time I take my dog Bruno with me. He is a very powerful dog and although he is most of the time without a lead on some areas the lead has to be used as we walk near the main road.
For 2 weeks I used a lead only (one of yours) without any additional products to stop him pulling. My shoulder was always very painful day after a walk as I was unable to stop him from pulling. It was always a horrendous experience and painful.
Yesterday I took KUMFI CALMER with me and the magic happen straight away! He walked by my side without pulling or wanting to pull. It was an amazing experience! My friend was the witness, she came with me, we tried it on another dog as well and again the same happened.
Absolutely Amazing product!
Well done, this is your best product ever as it is easy to use, extremely practical and works immediately.
Thank you very much. AK Derbyshire
Hi George
Thank you so much for sending me your Kumfi Calmer. It is really really good. Dog walks without pulling at all and can control her delight in seeing other people, dogs, sheep etc.
Its just brilliant
Best wishes

A TIP FROM DOG TRAINER Sue GILMORE
If the dog objects to the Kumfi CALMER fit it on before the dog has its food. Let it eat the food with the Kumfi CALMER fitted. This has helped on numerous occasions, then take the dog for a walk.
Dear George
Many thanks for sending my order so quickly, I do appreciate it.
I have fitted the Kumfi CALMER and had a very successful first days training with “Max” a rescue collie who had been ill treated before he arrived at Dogs Trust. Poor Max was greatly in danger of being returned because his very distressed owners couldn’t control him on a walk. I’ve never fitted one of your Kumfi CALMERS yet that hasn’t worked instantly and if you could have seen the tears of joy on the owners faces this morning, they now think you are a genius !
Thanks once again

Absolute magic! New, 18 month old rescue dog was a nightmare on walks, pulling on lead and twirling round like a mad thing every ten minutes. Trainer tried your lead and literally instant change. Two weeks now and almost perfect behaviour on every walk, with very occasional mad moment easily and quickly controlled. Don’t know why it works so brilliantly but it does!
